Rudy Schmehl - Pennsylvania Marketing Representative

Rudy has spent the past 40 years in sales and marketing for several Indiana and Pennsylvania based companies.

In 1996, Rudy joined The Breneman Team and worked in PA, MD, DE and NJ promoting the use of Micro-surfacing to municipalities and private entities. In 1998, Rudy´s sales territory encompassed all of Pennsylvania except the five county Philadelphia area, when Breneman initiated this new marketing program promoting the cost effectiveness of Micro-surfacing, crack sealing, Ultra Thin Hot Mix, full depth reclamation, soil stabilization and cold in place asphalt recycling.

Rudy´s work duties require him to travel throughout the Commonwealth reviewing roads for municipalities, conducting seminars for engineers, the American Public Works Association (APWA); Councils of Government and Pennsylvania´s Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). He works with the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) conducting educational conferences across the state. Rudy is a vendor at more than a dozen public works conferences each year.

Rudy is the immediate Past-President of the Pennsylvania Association of Asphalt Material Applicators (PAAMA); a professional organization comprised of road contractors from Pennsylvania and surrounding states. He is a Past-President of Reading Toastmasters 714 and is active in fundraising efforts for several local and national organizations. Rudy served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.

Rudy is married to his wife Roberta. They live in Ontelaunee Township, Berks County, PA and have 27-year-old twins, Courtney and Collin.
