EJB Paving & Materials Co. is a road construction and blacktop supply company located in the heart of Berks County, Pennsylvania. Formed by E.J. Breneman, L.P. and Berks Products Corporation in 1993, EJB has consistently provided quality blacktop and service to its customers.
Located at the intersection of Routes 61 and 73 south of Leesport, our blacktop plants are easy to access and are minutes from the major highways cutting through Berks County. Located on this site are two blacktop plants capable of meeting the needs of any customer. The first of the plants is an Astec Double Barrel drum mix plant erected on this site in 1999. The plant is capable of producing 500 tons of blacktop per hour. A fourth storage silo was added to the facility in early 2004 which brings the total storage capacity at the drum plant to 1200 tons. Two cold feed bins were also added during the winter of 2004 to improve plant efficiency. The second plant is a three ton batch plant which primarily serves the needs of our commercial customers.
The plant is permitted by the PA Department of Environmental Protection to accept waste blacktop or millings (RAP). Loads are accepted during work hours or by special arrangement.
